Real life comes first
We fully acknowledge that people have real lives outside this community, and we strongly believe that real life issues always come first. In case you will be absent or gone for a while, we’d appreciate it if you could be kind enough to inform us ahead of time. It is hard to guess whether you’re just busy preparing for your examinations or perhaps enjoying a well deserved vacation in the Bahamas. A quick and short message to one of our officers before you take the plunge into a divine pool "brimmed with forbidden fruit" would be greatly appreciated! when members disappear without any trace of activity for extended periods of time and with no warning, we tend to worry for their well being. That is how a healthy family reacts.
Be respectful towards fellow DIIN members and non-members. Respect everyone’s differences and treat each other like family. It is mandatory for all DIIN members to show absolute respect and tolerance to each other and our allies. There will be disagreements, but respecting one another keeps it from becoming a drama which will NOT be tolerated. If disagreements occur, immediately consult with any of our officers so it can be worked out the soonest possible.
We do NOT tolerate improper and racist behaviour, we take this matter seriously.
If any member is reported for harassment, trash talking, provocation or bullying of another player, whether In-Game, via TeamSpeak, forums, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Etc) or in private messages, Immediate disciplinary actions will be taken as deemed appropriate up to and including bans from accessing our TeamSpeak, website, online shop, or permanent revocation of your Divine intervention community membership.
"No Drama" policy
We have Absolute Zero Tolerance for members that are causing issues to other members or non-members of the community as a whole. We are here to have fun, so we kindly request that you behave decently. We understand that there are issues associated with any game, but please do not spew negativity or start arguments, as it will bring everyone down and take away the joy of the game. Our officers are more than happy to address any member’s concerns as long as they are addressed through private messages or private "one on one" discussions on TeamSpeak. Not only does this allow us to address your problems quicker and more efficiently, it also prevents arguments and heated, non-constructive debates from breaking out within the community. You will only be warned once by our officers. If you continue to cause drama, you will be permanently removed from the community and banned from accessing our TeamSpeak, website, forums and other vital community resources.
We are very proud of our community and what we stand for. When you are chatting in game, posting in forums or via other social media platforms, remember that you are doing so in the public domain. Many readers will look upon you as a representative of our community. Please avoid being disrespectful and racist. Once any of our members crosses the line, their action will inadvertently cast a bad light onto our community as a whole. Human nature dictates that onlookers will assume that all of our members behave in that manner. Not only does it damage your reputation, it also damages the community’s reputation as well. If you do something wrong (like causing a flame war or get into a heated argument with other players) please let an officer know about the issue asap. If you tell us beforehand, we can better defend you or at least are aware of it so we are not blindsided when the issue is brought to our attention. If not, then expect the worst. We firmly believe that diplomacy reigns supreme in these circumstances, but there are limits to everything.
TeamSpeak is mandatory for all DIIN members to use when In-Game. NO Exceptions! DIIN members that are In-Game but not logged in to our TeamSpeak will be given up to Three (3) Warnings to comply or risk having your membership revoked. (Unless you have a disability or other personal issues in which case we will work out something unique on case to case basis.)
When you set up your TeamSpeak, we recommend you use your TeamSpeak name in a manner that reflects your In-Game name (makes everyone’s lives easier) The DIIN TeamSpeak server will have multiple channels for those that would like to be less social than others, Although we promote a social environment where members can know one another and friendships can be made and maintained. We strongly suggest that you get to know your team mates and familiarize with their voices as this would be very helpful during clan wars / community operations / territory wars / etc.. We also suggest members avoid sexually oriented, religious and political topics in our public channels. If unavoidable, you may use one of the private channels or request for a private room to be created to suite your “needs”. Make every effort to choose your words carefully and make intelligent decisions when you speak. When we all get excited and things “slip”, some members will find it offensive, as many of us have younger family members listening or watching nearby. Once our officers receive repeated complaints from members about your behaviour, then disciplinary actions will be taken.
Loyalty & Trust
We do our best to keep a tightly knit group of people who care about each other and the community as a unified force, a common place for us all to gather and fight back to back against whatever challenges lay ahead. To this institution we rely on the loyalty of our members to do what is right to further the cause and objective of the community. If the community wins, you win. If we are all in sync and working together as a team then we will all prosper in our adventure. If you are more concerned with yourself, your own needs, then this is NOT the community for you. As a DIIN member, you agree that you will protect the assets, resources and classified information of our community and will NOT disclose it to anyone outside of the “family”. Any member proven to have breached this agreement will be subject to having their membership terminated immediately and will also receive a lifetime ban from re-joining our community. Your deeds will be relayed to our allies as well.
You are encouraged to think very carefully before leaving the community because if you are looking to re-join again due to unforeseen circumstances on your part, you must submit a new application, go through the whole recruitment process all over again. Needless to mention that there is always the chance of your application being rejected based on your past performance records.
We expect all community members to act maturely, follow the aforementioned codes of conduct, and to respect our community’s chain of command. Breaking the chain of command shows a lack of respect for authority and will be treated as a serious offense. Be creative and positive! If you have an idea for improvement or any suggestions, please feel free to talk to any officer or submit your ideas via the contact page of our website. A common concept that many applicants fail to grasp is that joining a community requires much more commitment than just playing a game. Community members need to work together for the common good. Once you are a part of our community, you are a part of a much bigger experience than just yourself and there is no point being in a community if you’re not going to attempt to assist or interact with your fellow co-members.
Be willing to learn, and to admit defeat when beaten fair and square. Learn not only from your own mistakes, but also from the mistakes of others as well and make necessary adjustments to enhance your experience and evolve. Any member who participates in a Clan Wars / Battalion territory wars, Raids, Skirmishes, etc.. must expect to receive constructive criticism. You are expected to use this criticism as a tool to help you perform better. Key word “constructive”.
Representing DIIN as an officer is a highly valued privilege that requires a lot of hard work, dedication and has immense responsibility. If you are found to be abusing your power by unnecessarily kicking members off from servers, mistreating members, exercising favouritism or harassing anyone for example, you will be subjected to disciplinary actions, suspended and/or your DIIN membership terminated as well as access to all community systems, privileges and services denied.
You are to be the fair player that commends others when outplayed. Never flame or insult others in any circumstance. You want to win? Learn from your mistakes.
